• Color Palette - Green Tea, Apricot, Light Pink, Black and Ivory
• Concept - Asian-American, modern wedding with a touch of old world tradition. The inspiration is fun and playful with soft elements of cultural romance.
• Floral - Simple and sweet, Lily of the Valley nosegay with a hand dyed satin ribbon, Spring blooming dogwood, orchids, roses, viburnum, lilac and gerbera daisies.
• Favors - Loose leaf tea, fortune cookies
• Menu - Sake and sushi

• Lots of crystals and orchids and metallic fabrics
• Simple floating tea candles in low-profile candle holders allow for a touch of light without crowding the tables

August 2011 Real Wedding in Mt Hood Oregon

Inspiration / Style observed by MoscaPhoto during the shoot:

• soooo much DIY here!
• pinks, yellows, greens, browns, blues... all combined to be colorful and perfect
• very casual outdoor wedding with lots of collaboration between friends and family to make every piece of DIY detail happen (a fun way to include many people in the wedding planning)
• handwritten signage throughout the property
• hand made glass containers with hand picked wild flowers as table toppers that doubles as party favors for guests to take home
• hand cut slices of wood as stands and trays
• simple hand stamped heart shaped place cards at the tables
• paper sun shade umbrellas for guests to shield themselves from the hot sun added a fun and colorful splash to the ceremony setting
• everything on the guest table that you see in the images below were hand made (etching/burning on wood for the guest book, fabric flower craft decor for the pens, etc)

• DIY hair accessory (made by hand by the bride herself using her grandmother's brooch)

• hand painted "lea & clark" cake topper to represent one another (Lea and Clark are the couple's names)
• a collection of old photographs from their families' past weddings alongside their own new engagement photographs taken by us, on a fun table for guests to enjoy
• hand stamped guest place cards in many different bright hues of pastel colors, hanging from a rope with clothespins
• personalized thumbprint guest sign-in with bright green wedding programs in the shape of fans in case the day was going to be hot (which it was :)
• personalized 2x3inch cards for guests to take home with them of one of our engagement photos of the two of them as favors
