July 2011 real wedding in Hood River Oregon
Inspiration/Style observed by Moscaphoto during the shoot:
- green, blue, purple hues with bright red accents
- peacock feathers
- baby's breath floral accents
- old reused mason jars and a variety of bottles
- hand picked lavender and other local, seasonal, fresh flowers
- wooden stands and cake/cupcake holders
- raffia, stamps, recycled place cards... all diy
The bride was so crafty! She involved all of her bridesmaids and friends in the preparation of her wedding details and decor. The day before the wedding itself, they went to local farms where fields of flowers were in full bloom. She made sure to pick local, in season, fresh flowers of similar colors/hues, and also made sure to incorporate one solid, bright color to make it all "pop" (red). Peacock feathers are inexpensive to purchase and easily incorporated into the chosen floral colors. Everything came together perfectly and it was a very professional looking, clean and beautiful backdrop to a great and meaningful wedding.
